Richard "Dick" W. McCracken, 95, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Baptist Health Madisonville.

He was born on April 5, 1926 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Lula Renner McCracken and Fred McCracken. Richard retired from G.E. as a long range forecaster. He was of the Methodist Faith. Richard was a United States Air Force Veteran serving during WWII. He enjoyed metal sculpting, traveling, and cooking.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Harriette J. McCracken; son, James R. McCracken; two sisters; and one brother.

Survivors include his wife, Emeline Fesmire McCracken of Saline, MI; daughter, Janice (Dennis) Holland of Madisonville; granddaughters, Shelli C. Holland, Tricia N. (Harlan) Wilkerson, and Jennifer C. Brantley; five great-grandchildren; and his daughter-in-law, Debbie McCracken.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at Miami Valley Memory Gardens in Centerville, OH with military honors performed by the Centerville, Ohio Honor Guard. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville was entrusted with care.
