Richard Massey, 43, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh, IN.

He was born on January 14, 1980, in Madisonville, KY, to Melinda Melton Massey and the late Richard Massey, Sr. He was self-employed and worked in construction. He loved spending time with his family and his children.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Kemble Massey of Madisonville; mother, Melinda Melton Massey of Madisonville; daughters, Autumn Massey and Star Massey, both of Madisonville; son, Braydon Massey of Madisonville; brothers, Gordon Williams, Willie Massey, Joe Massey, Josh Massey, and A.J. Massey; sisters, Melisa Massey and Annie Massey; cousin, Chad Massey; aunt, Pat Garrison; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at Mad City Event Center in Madisonville. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
