Richard L. Frisby, 85, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, KY.

He was born on September 23, 1940, in Cincinnati, OH, to the late Esther Adams Frisby and Decater Frisby. He was formerly employed as a machinist for John Silvers Company. He enjoyed wood carving and riding motorcycles. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and his family. Richard was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Richard Frisby; and his brothers, Bill Frisby and Sam Frisby.

His survivors include his wife of sixty years, Ina Louise Patton Frisby of Dawson Springs; daughter, Rhonda (Rob) Hildreth of Tarpon Springs, FL; sons, Vincient Frisby of Carbondale, IL, Eric Frisby of Dawson Springs, and Tony (Liz) Frisby of Urbana, IL; brother, Bob Frisby; sisters, Jeri Frisby, Brenda Frisby, Sharon Frisby, and Jodi Frisby; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
