Rebecca Thomason Edwards, 59, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at her home.

She was born on December 22, 1956 in Madisonville to the late Emma Stokes and Mack Rogers. Rebecca was employed with Regional Medical Center for twenty-five years and attended Covenant Community Church in Madisonville. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Wayne Thomason; and her sister, Millie Brasher.

Survivors include her daughter, Ashley Herran and husband, Ben of Madisonville; brothers, Kenny, Freddie and Bill Stokes; sisters, Ouida Stokes and Donna Rodgers; granddaughter, Ansley Herran; grandson, Lucas Herran; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2016 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Chaplain Pat Dew officiating. A private burial for immediate family to follow at New Salem Cemetery in Nortonville, KY.

Visitation will be from noon until the service hour Thursday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Rebecca's memory to her grandchildren. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
