Randell G. Alexander, Sr., 76, of Evansville, IN passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Cypress Grove Nursing Home in Newburgh, IN.

He was born on September 7, 1943 in Carbondale, KY to the late Lillie Mae Wells Newman and Lawson Alexander. Randell was formerly employed with Alcoa and was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed target shooting, the outdoors, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his son, Randell G. "Alex" Alexander, Jr. of Evansville, IN; brothers, Lindle Alexander of Newburgh, IN and Richard Dale Newman of Evansville; sister, Barbara (Stanley) Bishop of Cynthiana, IN; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, August 24, 2020 at Shaw Cemetery in Nortonville, KY with Pastor Eddie Fleming officiating. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of the arrangements.
