Phillip J. Wilson, 69, of Hanson, KY formerly of Hopkinsville, KY passed away at 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

He was born on October 26, 1943 in Hopkinsville, KY to the late Wendell and Nancy Wilson. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in Vietnam and was of the Christian faith.

He is survived by his son, J.P. Wilson of Madisonville; his brother, Paul Wilson of Henderson, KY; his sisters, Carol Stringer of Arkansas and Sharon Hamilton of Oklahoma; his grandson, Reagan Wilson of Madisonville; his granddaughter, McKinley Wilson of Madisonville; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2013 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Richard Sisk officiating.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the service hour Saturday at Harris Funeral Home.
