Peggy Jane Tyson, 78, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 5:29 p.m. on Friday, February 21, 2014 at Ridgewood Terrace Health and Rehabilitation Center in Madisonville.

She was born on August 14, 1935 in Madisonville to the late Lola Mae Gobin and James Bishop. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sons, David Hendrix and Steve Tyson; and her daughter, Nancy Tyson.

She is survived by her sons, Gary Hendrix and Roger (Debbie) Tyson both of Madisonville; her daughter, Katona (Dale) Fuller of Madisonville; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Monday, February 24, 2014 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Chip Palmer officiating. Burial at a later date in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the service hour Monday at Harris Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association. Envelopes will be availalbe at the funeral home.
