Paul Richard Williams, Jr., 72, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.

He was born on August 9, 1951, in Macon, GA, to the late Catherine Disney Williams Hair and Paul R. Williams, Sr. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He was formerly employed as a factory worker for York. He loved fishing, hunting, and watching baseball and football. He was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Falcons. Paul was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include his daughter, Catherine "Michelle" Williams of Madisonville; son, Paul R. Williams III of Madisonville; grandsons, Donelle Williams and Tyrese Williams, both of Louisville, KY; and granddaughters, Jazmyn Williams and Maya Williams, both of Madisonville.

A graveside service will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, February 16, 2024, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville with military honors provided by the United States Navy and the Christian County Honor Guard. Harris Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
