Paul Edward Stringfield, 79, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 10:40 p.m. on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at his home of an extended illness.

He was born on April 28, 1933 to the late Izetta Eastwood and Rev. John Stringfield. He was formerly working in construction as a painter and was a truck driver.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Margaret Stringfield; his brother, Willie Stringfield, his sister, Mary Gladys and his daughter, Victoria Wright.

He is survived by his two daughters, Paula (Daryl) Briles of Graham, KY and Darla (Fred) Gohl of Pasedena, TX; three sons, Edward (Cindy Hale) Stringfield, James (Connie) Stringfield and Darrell (Sue) Stringfield all of Madisonville; his sister, Patsy DeMoss; his brother, Nikki Eastwood; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; several cousins; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 13, 2012 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Bill Crabtree officiating. Burial will be in Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the service hour Friday at Harris Funeral Home.
