Paul W. Pendley Sr., 80, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 1 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at his home.

He was born on July 10, 1933 in Earlington, KY to the late Roy and Norma Pendley. He was a United States Army Veteran and later managed the Shell gas station in Madisonville. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Hermine Pendley.

He is survived by his son, Paul W. (Sandra) Pendley Jr. of Sterling VA; his daughter, Kathryn Hall of Ronceverte, WV; his brother, Roy Pendley of Denver, CO; his grandson, John Hall of Leesburg, VA; his granddaughter, Sara Pendley of Sterling, VA; and several nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 24, 2014 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Jerry Brewer officiating. Burial to follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Monday at Harris Funeral Home.
