Paul Harris, 82, of Madisonville, KY formerly of Centralia, IL passed away at 11:25 a.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Doctor's Nursing and Rehab Center in Salem, IL.

He was born on December 31, 1931 in Madisonville to the late Vivien Burden Harris and Rurel C. Harris. He was a United States Army Veteran and was formerly a truck driver and taxi driver.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his brother, James D. (Sue) Harris of Nebo, KY; his sister, Flossie (Tom) Ellis of Mortons Gap, KY and Linda C. (Edgar) Price; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 12, 2014 at Concord General Baptist Church Cemetery in Manitou, KY with Pastor Pat Wilson officiating. Military honors will be conducted graveside by the Hopkins County Honor Guard. Burial will follow. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of arrangements.
