Patty Elder's Obituary
Patty Elder, 67, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Brighton Cornerstone Healthcare in Madisonville.
She was born on October 24, 1948 in Madisonville to the late Grace Downey and Alvin Downey, Jr. She was a waitress at Country Cupboard in Madisonville.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Elder.
Survivors include her daughter, Shannon Jones of Madisonville; brother, Dennis Downey; sisters, Brenda Hazel, Barbara Downey, Debbie Rhew and Annette Ward; granddaughter, Whitley Davis; grandson, Dakota Jones; great-granddaughters, Amari Davis and Jaylee Taylor; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at Noon on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Matt Browning officiating and Markaya and Makayla Jackson eulogizing. Burial to follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Wednesday at the funeral home.
