Patsy Parish Ashby, 84, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at her friend's home in Nortonville, KY.

She was born on August 10, 1934 in Madisonville to the late Dr. Benjamin Parish and Mattie Jones Parish. Patsy was formerly a Registered Nurse at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. She enjoyed sewing and crafting.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Dean Ashby; sons, Steve Lucero and  infant son, Gregory Porter and sister, Ibyll Wicks.

Survivors include her sister, Carol Aultman of Titusville, FL; brother, John Wallace Parish of Marshall, TX; granddaughter, Trisha Gilbert and husband, Brian of Missouri; great-grandchildren, Ian Gilbert, Bethany Gilbert and Caleb Gilbert; friend and caregiver, Rebecca Jarvis of Nortonville, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 21, 2018 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Steve Babb officiating. Burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

The visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Friday at the funeral home.
