Ora Lee Bearden, 75, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 1 a.m. on Friday, September 5, 2014 at her home.

She was born on August 31, 1939 in Dawson Springs, KY to the late Amy Melton Phillips and Aubrey Phillips. She formerly worked for over twenty-four years in food service at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. Ora Lee was a member of Browder United Methodist Church in Madisonville, Ky.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Phillips; and her brother's, Jimmy Gooch and C.J. Gooch.

She is survived by her son's, Tony (Debbie) Bearden of Madisonville and Marshall Bearden of Louisiana; her grandson, Anthony (Tricia) Bearden; her great-granddaughter's, Abigale Bearden and Cayla Hancock; her great-grandson, Connor Bearden; her brother, Ralph Phillips; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Lonnie Strader officiating. Burial to be held at a later date.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the service hour Tuesday at Harris Funeral Home.
