Opal Curneal's Obituary
Opal Curneal, 90, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 1:10 p.m. on Monday, November 18, 2013 at Manchester Medical Center in Manchester, TN.
She was born on April 12, 1923 in Irvin, KY to the late Georgia Ruby Hayes and Cosby Reed Hayes. She was a member of Grapevine Baptist Church in Madisonville and was formerly a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Evansville, IN.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Curneal.
She is survived by her sons, Shelby Eugene (Valerie) Sisk of Florida and Jerry Wayne (Marquitta) Sisk of Tennessee; her sister, Margaret Jones of California; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2013 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Maurice Melton officiating. Burial to follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Saturday at Harris Funeral Home.
