Odell Stanley Hawkins, 84, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 7:55 p.m on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at her home.

She was born on November 10 1927 in Graham, KY to the late Anothy Groves Stanley and Segal Stanley. She worked for Dell's Dolls and Crafts and was a member of Madison Avenue Independence Holiness.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters, Doralee Flynn, Henritta Holeman, and Elizabeth Rice; three brothers, R.D. Stanley, S.T. Stanley, and A.Y. Stanley; and two grandchildren, Bryan Stanley and Tracy Stanley.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Hawkins; four daughters, Laura (Bobby) Crook of Hanson, KY, Rosemary (David) Harvey of White Plains, KY, Sheila (Tommy) Oakley of Madisonville and Patty (Jimmy) Stanley of Henderson, KY; her son, David (Joanne) Blades of Indian Rock, MD; her sister, Enola Massey of Madisonville; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Madisonville with Bro. Chuck Evans officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour Sunday at Faith Missionary Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Crook, Austin Crook, Dwight Oakley, Kyle Crook, Stephen Harvey and Shea Stanley.
