Norma Jean Cunningham, 76, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 12:45 a.m. on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at her home.

She was born on June 4, 1936 in Manitou, KY to the late Martin Luther Porter and Mary Lou Clayton Porter. She was a homemaker and a member of Madisonville Baptist Temple.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Cunningham; and her two brothers, Johnny Porter and Martin Wayne Porter.

She is survived by two daughters, Janice (Dwight) Cox of Henderson, KY and Melissa Prins of Nashville, TN; her son, Roger Dale (Cathy Sue) Cunningham of Madisonville; her sister, Barbara Ann Dorris of Hanson, KY; two brothers, Roscoe Porter and Kenneth Ray Porter both of Madisonville; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 12, 2012 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Rev. Dwight Cox officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Thursday at Harris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Heath Cox, Chester Brumfield, Mike McCool, David Avery, Bruce Knight and Brad Brumfield.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
