Willie "Nell" Beth Shadrick Brown, 98, of Madisonville, KY passed away on December 12, 2020 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

She was born on June 2, 1922 in Madisonville to the late Vara Blue Shadrick and Ervin Shadrick. Nell was formerly a sales clerk at J.C. Penny and was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church in Madisonville where she was a member of the Willing Workers Sunday school class. She enjoyed reading, sewing and croqueting.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd L. Brown, Jr.; son, P. Randell Bryan; four brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include her grandchildren; Gia (Tate) Bennett and Bruce Bryan both of Madisonville; great-grandson, Slater Bennett; daughter-in-law, Wanda Bryan of Madisonville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Madisonville with Pastor Len Young officiating. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of the arrangements.
