Nelda Mae Young, 82, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, IN.

She was born on July 16, 1936 in Madisonville to the late Thomas Earl Sisk and Iva Mae Sisk. Nelda was a member of First Baptist Church in Madisonville

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters; three brothers; and her granddaughter, Kenya Yovnne Schenk.

Survivors include her husband of sixty-five years, Bud Young of Madisonville; sons, Rodger (Pam) Young of Nortonville, KY, Kenneth (Wanita) Young of Earlington, KY, and Gary (June) Young of Madisonville; eleven grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Jim McMurtrie officiating. Burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

The visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and from noon until the funeral hour Wednesday at the funeral home.

The pallbearers are Howard Todd, Billy Todd, Buddy Young, Timothy Terry, Joseph Terry and Keith Terry.
