Nancy Aline Mitchell-Ballard, 75, of Dawson Springs, Ky. left this world to be with her Lord at 2:17 p.m. Sunday December 27, 2009 while residing at Brighton Cornerstone Health Care in Madisonville.

She was born on September 18, 1934 in Beulah, Ky. to the late Thurman Dockery and Mary Dockery. She was a retired nurse and health care administrator. She was a member of Charleston Baptist Church in Charleston, Ky.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Mitchell Jr.; a brother, Roy Wayne Dockery and a sister, Paulette Dockery.

She is survived by her children, Tim Mitchell, Tony (Lori) Mitchell, Terry Mitchell, Donna M. (Marty) Vincent; her grandchildren, Lesley Peroddy-Talley, Michelle Mitchell, Joshua Mitchell, Audrey Mitchell, Joseph Mitchell, Alex Mitchell, Josh Vincent, Jesse Vincent and Myra Offutt; her sisters, Betty Stewart, Linda Riley and Karen Duncan; a brother, James Dockery.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday December 30, 2009, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville, Ky. with Bro. Doug Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Old Beulah Cemetery in Beulah, Ky.

Pallbearers will be Chris Menser, Charles Riley, Josh Vincent, Jesse Vincent, Andrew Dockery and Joey Talley.

Friends may call from 4 until 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home.
