Nancy E. Ireland, 70, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.

She was born on September 1, 1953, in Phoenix, AZ to the late Betty Moore Capps and Robert Joseph Capps. She loved reading, cross stitching, crafting, and was an excellent party planner. Nancy loved meeting people. She was of the Protestant faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Britton Cox; and brother, Robert Capps.

Survivors include her husband of twenty years, Jan Ireland of Madisonville; daughter, Amy (Clay) Hughes of Hurricane, UT; sons, Donnie (Autumn) Cox of Phoenix, AZ, Chris (Keisha) Cox of Kanab, UT, Brian (Cleudis) Cox of San Antonio, TX, Scott (Brooklyn) Cox of Washington, UT, and Casey (Paige) Cox of Kanab, UT; sister, Becky Capps of IL; twin brother, James Capps of NC; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
