Myrtle Frazer, 79, of Dalton, Ky. passed away at 1 a.m. on Monday, October 17, 2011 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.

She was born on October 5, 1932 in Princeton, Ky. to the late Norma and Thomas Horning. She was a homemaker and was a member of Dalton Baptist Church in Dalton.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Sonny Horning and a sister, Ann Rhye.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, William Rhodes Frazer; two sons, Nick (Cathy) Frazer and Sam (Christina) Frazer all of Dalton; three daughters, Faye Holloman of Dalton, Kaye (Homer Lee) Richardson of Brandenburg, Ky. and Willa (Brad) Egbert of Dalton; two brothers, Phillip Horning and Bobby Horning both of Princeton; a sister, Bonnie Fletcher of Princeton; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday October 19, 2011 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Dennis Mayfield officiating. Burial will be Dalton Cemetery in Dalton, Ky.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until the service time on Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville.

Pallbearers will be the grandsons; Richard Frazer, Matt Frazer, Justin Frazer, Robert Holloman, Patrick Holloman and Alex Richardson. Honorary Pallbearers will be the granddaughters and a grandson; Lydia Richardson Katlyn Egbert, Jaclyn Egbert and Sammy Frazer.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Dalton Cemetery Fund and the American Diabetes Association. Envelopes will be available at the Funeral home.
