Murlyne Hogue Winstead, 72, of Madisonville, KY went home to be with her Lord early Saturday morning, June 16, 2018 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

She was born on January 26, 1946. Murlyne was the only child of the late, Murl Hogue and Gwendolyn Dever Hogue of Madisonville.  She enjoyed gardening and flowers and truly loved spending time with her family. Murlyne lived a simple, humble Christian life in loving devotion to her Lord Jesus Christ, her husband and her family.

Survivors include her husband of fifty-five years, Robert E. "Bob" Winstead of Madisonville; children, Mariann Golden and husband, Joe of Madisonville, Susan Lucas and husband, Michael Shawn of Locust Grove, GA, Bobby Winstead of Louisville, KY and John M. Winstead and wife, Katy of Arlington, VA; eight grandchildren and a great-grandson.

The funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Rev. Ronald V. Kolb officiating. Burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

The visitation will be from 10 a.m until the funeral hour Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are George Dever, Preston Dever, Shawn Lucas, Christopher Lucas, Joe Golden and Matthew Golden.
