Mozell Wheeler's Obituary
Mozell Wheeler, 89, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Baptist Health Madisonville.
She was born on January 12, 1928 in Cullman, AL to the late Martha Elizabeth Williamson and John Williamson. Mozell retired as an LPN from Regional Medical Center in Madisonville and was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church in Madisonville. She was also a Kentucky Colonel.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Amzia Wheeler; sister, Louise Williamson; brothers, Edward Williamson, James Williamson and Charles Williamson; one granddaughter; and step-daughter, Carolyn Daugherty.
Survivors include her sons, Kenneth Whitfield and wife, Lana of Florida and Keith Whitfield and wife, Beverly of Sacramento, KY; brother, John Williamson of Alabama; and her step-children, Patty Abney and Diana "Deedee" Wheeler.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2017 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Lyn Young officiating. Burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Saturday at the funeral home.
