DRESDEN, Tenn. — Montie David Locke, 61, of Dresden, died at 3:35 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at Milan General Hospital in Milan, Tenn.
He was born April 14, 1947 in Hopkins County, Ky. to the late Dallas Locke and Willie Weir Locke. He was a retired meat cutter.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Naomi Ann Ford.
He is survived by one son, Nathan Locke and one daughter, Holly Locke, both of Dresden; two brothers, Ronnie Locke and Roger Locke, both of Madisonvlle, Ky.; one sister, Jean Lovell of Owensboro, Ky.; two granddaughters, Aerian Gilbert and Haylee Locke; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, April 3, 2009, in the chapel at Harris Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Menser officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Madisonville, Ky.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time Friday at Harris Funeral Home.
