Mildred Bone, 93, of Elizabethtown, KY formerly of Nebo, KY passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Signature at North Hardin Rehab and Wellness Center in Radcliff, KY.

She was born on May 17, 1924 in Nebo to the late Connie Classo Hinkle and Finis Hinkle. Mildred was a bible scholar and a member of Concord General Baptist Church in Manitou where she taught Sunday School. She enjoyed cleaning and taking care of her home and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Julious Bone; and her brothers, Ray Hinkle and Otis Hinkle.

Survivors include her sons, Don Bone and wife, Nancy and Gerald Bone both of Elizabethtown; sisters, Exie Vanvactor of Radcliff and Betty Brown of Fairmount, IN; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 16, 2018 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with her sons, Don and Gerald officiating. Burial to follow at Star Hope General Baptist Church Cemetery in Dixon, KY. The pallbearers are her grandsons.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday and from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mildred's memory to the Star Hope Cemetery Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
