Michelle "Shelly" Rose Emerson, 50, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at her home.

She was born on March 1, 1974, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Betty Emerson Virge. Shelly was a homemaker.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Jerry Virge; and her brother, Jerry Emerson.

Survivors include her niece, Shasta Nicole Oliver of Lexington, KY; cousin, Angela (Phillip) Lee of Nortonville; aunt, Reada Collinsworth of Madisonville; and several other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
