Christopher Michael Ray Walker, 56, of Slaughters, KY, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

He was born on August 13, 1968, in Henderson, KY to the late Alvie Sue Rich Adams and Carlos Walker. Michael was a United States Navy Veteran and he retired as a self employed construction worker. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, doing landscaping work, and flower and vegetable gardening. He also enjoyed woodworking and watching sports with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, James Adams.

Survivors include his wife of thirty-seven years, Amy Cates Walker; and his son, Sean Brogan Walker of Henderson.

A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, May 5, 2025, at Slaughters Cemetery in Slaughters, KY with Pastor Chuck Evans officiating. Military honors will be conducted graveside by the United States Navy. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of the arrangements.
