United States Air Force Veteran Michael Odom, 60, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

He was born on February 2, 1960 in Madisonville to the late, Berneice Wheatley Odom and Marvin B. Odom. He was a carpenter with Mark Phebus Construction. He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and searching for arrow heads throughout Hopkins County.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Brian Odom II.

Survivors include his sister, Patricia (Larry) Gordon of Standish, MI; granddaughter, Chloe Odom of Madisonville; nephew, Scott Gordon of Standish; niece, Kimberly Gordon of Omer, MI; great-nephew, Kyle Piorkowski of Bay City, MI; and his great-niece, Lilly Piorkowski of Vasser, MI.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville with Pastor Bill Crabtree officiating. Military honors will be conducted graveside by the Hopkins County Honor Guard. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of the arrangements.
