Michael "Mikey" Gordon, 58, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

He was born on July 4, 1958 in Chateauroux, France to Bob Gordon and the late Elsie Gordon. Mikey worked at Trace Industries in Madisonville. He enjoyed music, liked playing the drums and enjoyed writing letters to people. He had a smile and a hug for everyone he met and could make you feel so special at that moment. His sweet spirit will truly be missed by many.

Survivors include his father, Bob Gordon of Madisonville; sister, Teresa Clark and husband, David of Simpsonville, NC; nephews, Tyler Clark and Ashton Clark both of Simpsonville; and great-nephew, Karter Clark of Simpsonville.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 19, 2017 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Tonda Daugherty officiating. Burial to follow at Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are David Clark, Ashton Clark, Tyler Clark, Roger Chadwick, Kevin Law and Barry Russell. Honorary pallbearer is Mark Knight.
