Mary Yates Scott, 65, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at her home.

She was born on November 23, 1950 in Madisonville, KY to Clara Willadean Davis and the late Jerry Davis. Mary was formerly a secretary for the City of Madisonville and was of the Pentecostal faith. She liked boating and camping and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her first husband, Daniel B. Yates in 1998.

Survivors include her husband, Mark "Chip" Scott; mother, Clara Willadean Davis of Madisonville; daughter, Wendy Rodriguez and husband, CW2, Bruno of Florida; son, Daniel Yates and wife, Amy of Madisonville; sisters, Shirley Hannah and husband, Jim of Alaska, Emma Weisman of Florida and Betty Davis Baxter and husband, Benny of Hanson, KY; grandsons, Dakota Yates of Somerset, KY and Nikolas Rodriguez of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2016 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Paula Cox officiating. Burial to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in White Plains, KY.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Mark Scott, Andy Lear, Benny Baxter, Sr., Nikolas Rodriguez, Matthew Martinez and Dakota Yates.
