Mary L. Wedding, 79, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 3:01 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2014 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro, Ky.

She was born on April 12, 1935 in Gishton, KY to the late Houston and Janie Peveler. She was a homemaker and stayed active as a Army wife for twenty years. Mary was a member of Christian Assembly in Madisonville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Alma Taylor, Sybil Case and Frieda Sue Abney; and her brother, Wayne Peveler.

She is survived by her daughters, Connie (Les) Langdon and Marlene (Alex) Appleby both of Madisonville; her sons, William (Paulette) Wedding, Jr., and Ronnie (Kristi) Wedding both of Madisonville; her sister, Debra Abney; her brothers, Norman Peveler and Edsil Peveler; her grandsons, Travis Langdon, Matt Dukes, Chris Dukes, Zach Wedding and Ben Wedding; her granddaughters, Tracie Langdon-Gregg, Misty Orr, Jennifer Wedding and Sarah Cunningham; ten great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Pastor Glen Hobgood officiating and Pastor Roy Ellis assisting. Burial to follow in Mt. Piscah Cemetery in Central City, Ky. Pallbearers will be the grandsons.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Tuesday at Harris Funeral Home.
