Mary E. Ratliff, 76, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Ridgewood Terrace Health and Rehabilitation Center in Madisonville.

She was born on October 18, 1941 in Madisonville to the late Dorothy and Gordon Jameson. Mary was formerly the manager of Fidelity Credit and was a secretary at Kentucky Finance and at Time Finance. She was a member of Pritchetts Chapel in Hanson. Mary enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Gordon Edward Jameson.

Survivors include her husband of twenty years, Lucian "Kirk" Ratliff; sons, Scott Gipson and wife, Terri of Madisonville, Craig Gipson of Clarksville, TN and Lance Trevathan and wife, Kathleen of Madisonville; step-daughter, Tammy E. Ratliff of Madisonville; brother, John Jameson of Gainesville, GA; sisters, Jo Johnson of Madisonville, Martha Laub of Hanson, Barbara Corbin of Hopkinsville, KY and Pat Stewart of Lewisburg, KY; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 19, 2018 at Pritchetts Chapel 405 Combs Rd. Hanson, KY with Pastor Steve Terry officiating. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Monday at the church.

In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made in Mary's memory to the Hopkins County Humane Society.
