Mary Frances Key Johnson, 94, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 7:15 a.m. on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home in Madisonville.

She was born on February 12, 1919 in Madisonville, KY to the late Hampton B. Key and Lucy Belle Moore Key. She was a homemaker and was a life long member of Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert L. Johnson; brothers, Edmond Hampton Key, James Daniel Key and Frank Key; a grandson, Jerry Carroll Johnson; and a great-great grandson, Kaiden Cash Johnson.

She is survived by her daughters, Joelen (Steve) Daugherty of Madisonville, and Pat McGregor of Clay, KY; her son, H. Gerald (Carolyn) Johnson of Madisonville; seven grandchildren, Tressa (Aaron) Harn, Terry Qualls, Troy (Arwen) Johnson, Debra (Greg) Ford, Sandra Sandidge, Joseph (Emily) Daugherty, and Stephanie Daugherty; ten great- grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2013 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Rev. Laddie Pride officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Thursday at Harris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Greg Ford, Joseph Daugherty, Aaron Harn, Troy Johnson, Clay Johnson and Hunter Ford.

Memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
