Mary Lucille Edmiston, 85, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Owensboro Center Nursing and Rehab in Owensboro, KY.

She was born on July 26, 1933 in Diamond, KY to the late Octavia and Leslie Alexander. Mary enjoyed cooking and loved to bowl. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Balis Edmiston; son, Jerry Dewayne Edmiston; and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her son, Larry (Colleen) Edmiston of Owensboro; brother, Ralph Alexander of Providence, KY; sister, Joyce Wilson of Henderson, KY; granddaughters, Blaire Storme, Ashley Edmiston, Jamie Franks and Brandi Forker; great-grandsons, Aaron and Samuel Storme; great-granddaughters, Ellison and Millie Forker; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 24, 2019 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Cody Crowell and Ralph Alexander assisting. Burial to follow at Hanson Cemetery in Hanson.

The visitation will be from Noon until the funeral hour Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mary's memory to the American Heart Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
