Mary McCarty DePasse, 84, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Colonial Terrace in Sebree, KY.

She was born on June 8, 1937 in Corpus Christie, TX to the late Mary Ellen Bennett McCarty and William Edward McCarty. She was retired from the Housing Authority of Illinois as an Executive Director. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren. Mary was a member of Covenant Community Church in Madisonville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Richard Michael DePasse; granddaughter, Bobbie Stout; great-granddaughter, Abbie DePasse.

Survivors include her husband of sixty-four years, Norman DePasse of Madisonville; her daughter, Susan Clapp of Madisonville; her sons, William DePasse of Illinois and Thomas DePasse of Wisconsin; sister, Norma McCarty of Terre Haute, IN; brother, William McCarty of Terre Haute; eleven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; several nieces and nephews.
