Mary "Becky" Almon, 57, of Nebo, KY passed away at 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at her home.

She was born on August 28, 1956 in Madisonville, KY to the late Mary Rose Smith and James Dewey Smith. She was a switchboard operator at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville for 20 years and was a member of Nebo Baptist Church in Nebo, Ky.

She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Smith of Madisonville; her son, Adam Almon of Bowling Green, KY; her brothers, Boyd (Nora) Smith of Nebo, Barry (Regina) Smith of Mexico, KY, David (Lynn) Smith of Dixon, KY and Mark (Ramona) Smith of Dixon; her sisters, Karen (Paul) Summers of Madisonville, Trish (Eddie) Kelley of Nebo, Terri (Cody) Crowell of Central City, KY and Lita (Troy) Whitehair of Nortonville, KY; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 23, 2014 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro Cody Crowell officiating. Burial to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Central City.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Friday at Harris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jeremiah Smith, Adam Almon, Shane Fox, Dustin Trader, Micah Kelley and Mark Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Becky's brothers.
