Martha Winstead's Obituary
Martha Winstead, 87, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Monday, February 27, 2017 at NHC Healthcare of Madisonville.
She was born on September 1, 1929 in Earlington, KY to the late Laura E. Berry and Charlie H. Berry. Martha formerly worked at Kroger and was a member of Douglass Chapel United Methodist Church in Hendersonville, TN. She was a collector of fine antiques and she was a member of the Garden Club.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Davis Winstead; and her sister, Mary E. Hofmann.
Survivors include her nephew, Michael Hofmann and wife, Ann of Madisonville; brother-in-law, Bobby Winstead and wife, Lindah of Cadiz, KY; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Pastor Lon Lorton officiating. Burial to follow at West Lawn Cemetery in Hanson, KY.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Wednesday at the funeral home.
