Martha Barker Utley, 82, of Madisonville died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. She retired from Bellsouth and was a lifelong member of Madisonville First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, William R. Utley; two daughters, Elease Mabrey and Rebecca Ferrell; a stepdaughter, Ruth Farris; a stepson, Dr. Michael J. Utley; and a brother, David Barker.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Madisonville. Burial: Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville. Visitation: From 4 to 7 p.m. today at Harris Funeral Home and after 10 a.m. Thursday at the church.
