Martha Sue Stringfield, 55, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 11:25 a.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Baptist Health in Madisonville.

She was born on September 29, 1957 in Hamtramck, MI to the late John William Harmond and Mary Frances Brown Harmond. She was a manager at KFC and later was an RN at Senior Citizens Nursing Home. She attended Soul Harbor Church in Madisonville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Harmond and her great niece, Emily Michelle Stancil.

She is survived by her husband, Darrell Stringfield of Madisonville; a daughter, Amy (Emmanuel) Ortiz of Madisonville; two sisters, Barbara Ann Demastus of Lawrenceburg, TN and Nancy Louise Springer of Summertown, TN; three grandchildren, Skyler Lee Brasher, Faith Ann Brasher, and Chase Daniel Brasher; one niece and two nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m on Friday, November 9, 2012 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Bill Crabtree officiating.

Visitation will be from noon until the service hour Friday at Harris Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
