Marshall "Duke" Madison, MADISONVILLE, KY.- Marshall Madison, 64, of Madisonville, died at 3:37 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2009, at his home in Madisonville, Ky.

He was born November 1, 1944, in Hopkins County, Ky., to the late Gene Madison and Pauline Madison. He was retired from Goldenrod Milk Co. He was of the Baptist faith. The family was so blessed to spend Father's day with their dad before his passing.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Poe Madison. Marshall passed away on Judy's birthday June 22. He was also prededed in death by two sisters, Linda Ridley and Betty Bryant; one brother, Raymond Madison.

He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda Dunlap and Keith Dunlap, of Earlington, Ky.; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary Madison and Lena Madison of Madisonville; one granddaughter, Julie Madison of Madisonville; three sisters, Peggy Lancaster of Evansville, IN., Dottie Moorehead and Vada Clayton both of Madisonville; two brothers, Larry Madison and Paul Madison both of Evansville, IN.; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 25, 2009, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Rev. Edward Shane Amar officiating. Burial will be in Old Suthards Cemetery in Earlington, Ky.

Pallbearers will be Joe Chambers, Boscoe France, Michael Poe, Keith Dunlap, Billy Matheny and Bobby Stewart.

Friends may call from 4 until 7 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at Harris Funeral Home.
