Mark A. "Tony" Harris, 48, of Mortons Gap, KY passed away at 6:15 a.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at his home.

He was born on September 20, 1965 in Manassa, VA to Judy Hancock and Leonard Harris. He was employed with Tyson Foods and was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Tamela Peyton and his son, Mark Anthony Harris, Jr.

He is survived by his mother, Judy (Bennie) Hancock of Hopkinsville, KY; his father, Leonard (Carol) Harris of Farmington, NM; his wife, Missy Harris of Madisonville; his daughters, Natasha Daugherty and Amanda Harris both of Madisonville; his son, Jacob (Angel) Harris of Dawson Springs, KY; his partner, Diana Lanning of Mortons Gap, KY; his sisters, Pamela Coakley of Mortons Gap, KY and Tammy Ratliff of Madisonville; his brother, Lennie Harris; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 17, 2014 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Tondra Daugherty officiating. Burial to follow in New Suthards Baptist Church Cemetery in Earlington, Ky.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Monday at Harris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Harris, Scottie Stanley, Roger Thomas, James Marsh, Tammy Ratliff and Jason Daugherty.
