Margie Lee Pruden VanCleve, 89, of Madisonville, Ky. passed away at 12:25 p.m. on Thursday January 27, 2011 at her home.

She was born on June 14, 1921 in Spottsville, Ky. to the late Robert Lee Pruden and LaVerna Reed Pruden. She was a homemaker and was a member of Grapevine Baptist church in Madisonville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. VanCleve; three brothers, Morris Buck Pruden, Joe Pruden and Jack Pruden and a sister, Dorothy Key.

She is survived by a daughter, Tamara Ross of Spottsville, Ky.; three sons, Donald Ray VanCleve of Madisonville, Mike VanCleve of Mt. Vernon, IN. and Guy VanCleve of Madisonville; a sister, Ann Ewing of Mt. Vernon, IN.; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday January 31, 2011 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Greg Gaddis officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Monday at Harris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be grandsons; Drew VanCleve, Dray VanCleve, Reid VanCleve, Matt VanCleve, Lance VanCleve and Jarrett VanCleve.

Memorial contributions may be made to Green River Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
