Margie A. Boone, 93, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 5:46 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

She was born on April 18, 1920 in Manitou, KY to the late Edward Marshall Rhew and Ina Pearl Veazy Rhew. She was a dedicated homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother to her family. She was a member of Salem Primitive Baptist Church in Madisonville, KY for sixty years.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Owen Earl Boone; her brothers, Edward Glenn Rhew and Joseph (J.T.) Rhew; and her step-son, James E. Boone.

She is survived by her daughter, Julain (Carl) Faulk of Madisonville; her granddaughter, Teresa (Dana) Eden of Madisonville; her grandson, Greg (Vicki) Faulk of Madisonville; five step-grandchildren, Doug Boone, Wayne Boone, Jamie Boone, Kevin Boone and Karen Lough; her great-grandsons, Brian Buntin and Brad Faulk both of Madisonville; her great-granddaughters, Brandy Adler of Hanson, KY, April Blankenship of Manitou and Ginger Eden of Madisonville; six great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Chuck Evans and Bro. Kenneth Blevins officiating. Burial to follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Greg Faulk, Dana Eden, Brian Buntin, Brad Faulk, Dan Adler, Travis Blankenship and Nathan Buntin.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Baptist Church Building Fund in Madisonville. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
