Margaret Tyson, 83, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Friday, October 9, 2015 at the Heartford House in Owensboro, KY.

She was born on October 8, 1932 in Madisonville, KY to the late Edith Marie Morrow and Chester Morrow. Margaret was a member of the Eastern Star and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Elvis Tyson and a daughter, Sandra Carroll.

Survivors include her sons, Greg Tyson of Greenville, KY and Elvis Dewayne Tyson and wife, Naomi of Mortons Gap, KY; daughters, Patricia Mitchell and husband, Gary of Greenville and Laquetta Grisham of Madisonville; brother, Sonny Morrow of Florida; grandson, Shane Faughender of Graham, KY; granddaughters, Crystal Trover of Madisonville and Raven Gatten of Madisonville; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Clarastine Morrow of Indiana; and step-daughters, Shirley Bozell of Greenville and Joan Kootz of Arizona.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2015 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Don Duncan officiating. Burial to follow at Union Cemetery in Nebo, KY.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Thursday at the funeral home.
