Marcella Farris Blue's Obituary
Marcella Blue, 80, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 3:50 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2014.
She was born on May 16, 1933 in Madisonville, KY to the late Madgaline Winebarger Farris and Marvin Lee Farris. She was formerly employed with General Electric in Owensboro, KY and Rockwell International in Russellville, KY. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, E.K. Blue and her brother, Charles Farris.
She is survived by her daughter, Alice Taylor of Madisonville; her brother, James (Barbara) Farris of Madisonville; her granddaughter, Ericka (Jason) Slaton of Manitou, KY; her grandsons, Kenneth (Deanna) Taylor of Henderson, KY and Jason Taylor of Madisonville; several great-grandchildren; and a niece and a nephew.
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 17, 2014 at Hicklin Cemetery in Anton, KY with Bro. Eddie Knowles officiating. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of arrangements.
