Mamie Cook, 65, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at her home.

She was born on September 4, 1953 to the late Leona Nunn and Clarence Elkins. Mamie was a self employed private sitter and was a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witness for forty-eight years. She enjoyed reading and loved reading her bible. Mamie loved children but especially her grandchildren and she enjoyed spending time with them.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tracy Caraway; granddaughter; Magellica Palious; grandsons, Adrian Palious and Cristian Caraway; brother, Clarence Samuel Elkins, Jr.; and her sister, Betty Jo Brown.

Survivors include her husband of eighteen years, Billy Cook; six daughters; one son; twenty grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; one brother; three sisters; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 7, 2019 at the Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witness with Bro. Scott Basham officiating. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville was entrusted with care.
