Maedean Jones' Obituary
MaeDean Jones, 82, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 3:02 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.
She was born on March 28, 1930 in Madisonville, KY to the late Gerald Lovan and Arrie Lee Lovan Skaggs. She was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Mortons Gap, KY where she was a Sunday school teacher for the ladies class for over twenty years. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Fred Jones and her son, Timothy Dale Jones.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna (Terry) Maxwell of Albany, GA; her grandson, Bret Maxwell of Tallahassee, FL and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Jerry Brewer officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Tuesday at Harris Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
