Lucille Kelley Vandiver, 90, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026, at Redbanks in Henderson, KY.

She was born on January 6, 1936, in Providence, KY, to the late Eva Grant Kelley and Lester Leamon Kelley. She was formerly employed as a machine operator for Arvin. She enjoyed dancing, cooking, and music. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Lucille was a member of Greengrove Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Freda Freeman, Martha Perdue, and Betty Gibson; brother, Kenny Kelley; granddaughter, Tiffany Dawn Fruit; and two grandchildren.

Her survivors include her husband of twenty-two years, Bill Vandiver of Madisonville; daughter, Eva Ledon Horning of Providence; son, William Doyle Ware of Providence; sister, Isabelle Anderson of Providence; grandchildren, Jessica (Adam) Yates, Derrick (Chelsey) Ware, Daaron (Hannah) Horning, DPT, Justin (Kayla) Ware, and Jarrett Ware; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2026, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Pastor Andy Couch officiating. Burial to follow at White Oak Cemetery in Clay, KY.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Derrick Ware, Justin Ware, Jarrett Ware, Jaxson Yates, Adam Yates, and Reegan Yates.
