MADISONVILLE, KY – Lucille Elizabeth Davenport, 89, of Madisonville, Ky. died Sunday, August 10, 2008, at 8:00 a.m. at her residence.

She was born January 16, 1919, in Hopkins County, Ky. to the late Tom Menser and Bessie Lantrip Menser. She was a retired coil winder for Muntz Television in Chicago, Ill. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Houston Davenport, one brother, Esteill Menser, and one half-sister, Oma Maddox.

She is survived by one sister, Mary Petrovich of Chicago; her caregiver, Romane Miller of Madisonville; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Thursday, August 14, 2008 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville, with Rev. Bill Crabtree officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Marion, Ky.
